Nerds are tiny, crunchy sour candies, made by taking little crystals of sugar and then tumbling them with successive layers of sour coating, then a coat of color. They're tart, they're sweet, but best of all, they come in cute, divided packages containing two separate flavors, each with its own dispensing opening.

This classic Nerds Grape/Strawberry combo offers tiny tangy crunchy "Gotta-Have Grape" candies on one side of the box, and "Seriously Strawberry" on the other -- you can eat the flavors together or separate, in handfuls or one by one.

These brightly colored pink and purple Nerds are undergoing renewed popularity as a mix-in for ice cream and decoration for cupcakes and sugar cookies. We've heard tales of adults fighting over the Nerds in their kids' Halloween baskets, but maybe that's just an urban legend.
