Magali Laurent is French-Canadian. With a master's degree in journalism, she left France in 2007 to settle in Quebec City with her partner, where they started their family. It was there that she wrote the first volume of the Billy trilogy for young readers, a finalist for the Quebec City Library's Literary Creation Prize and the Quebec International Book Fair in 2014. Not content to rest on her laurels, Magali followed up with a post-apocalyptic trilogy, B.O.A., the first volume of which was published in September 2017 by Éditions de Mortagne. Today, she writes part-time and collaborates with other authors, offering literary coaching and editing services.
Sabrina Gendron has a degree in visual arts as well as 2D/3D animation. She works on various illustration, animation, and visual arts projects and has more and more picture books and children's novels in her illustrator portfolio. Her illustrations, halfway between realism and animation, are touching, colourful, lively, and make you want to dive into the worlds she represents!
